Synopsis
Clown art is about to unleash mayhem on the unsuspecting citizens of Miles County as they peacefully drift off to sleep on Christmas Eve. Director Damien Leon said several major studios expressed interest in financing the film based on the surprise success of Terrifier 2 (2022), even without a full script, but he turned them all down because he’s convinced they’ll never let him shoot the opening scene alone , which he describes as “very controversial”. Leone commented that the only reason he can be so uncompromising in his portrayal of horror and gore is that he finances his own films, creates all the special effects himself to keep costs down, and doesn’t have a major studio breathing in to make the film. more mainstream.. Mia mentions that the 5 year anniversary of the original massacre was coming up, but that was on Halloween and this movie taking place at Christmas 5 years later would mean that the anniversary had just passed 2 months ago.
Follows The Terrifier (2016)
There is an uncut version of the film that is 2 hours and 25 minutes long with 5 extra scenes. Artwork written by Drew Fulka, Joe Occhiuti, Paul Wiley, Spencer Charnas and Steve Sopchak Performed by Ice Nine Kills and Shavo Odajian. Listen: I’m not traditionally a dude. So when my girlfriend asked me to watch the first two Terrifiers to prepare for this one, I wasn’t too thrilled. Turns out I love them ALL.
But this one, Terrifier 3, is special
I mean it when I say I haven’t laughed so hard in a theater in a long time. Let me smile at the clown’s deviant ridiculousness! It’s so over the top, so silly, the way the murders get creative and deliberately hilarious, that I can’t take it anymore. He is a truly special villain because he is as scary as he is funny. This is very difficult to do.
They each have their own identity
And Damien Leon struck gold with the art of clowning. He is the slasher hero of 2020 without question. And this franchise will go down as one of the greatest horrors ever. If you’re a fan of horror movies, be sure to watch them all. The third is my favorite, although the second might be the best and has the most classic scenes.
