to make the film more popular
Synopsis
Art the Clown is ready to wreak havoc on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they sleep peacefully on Christmas Eve. Director Damien Leone said that several major studios have expressed interest in financing this film based on the surprise success of “Horror 2” (2022), even without a finished script, but he has turned them down because he is sure that they will never let him make the film. the opening wall is one that he describes as “very controversial.” Leone noted that the only reason he can be so uncompromising in his portrayal of horror and gore is that he finances his films himself, creates all the special effects to keep costs down, and no major studio is breathing down his neck. Mia mentions that the 5-year anniversary of the original massacre is coming up soon, but it happened on Halloween, and the action of the film, which takes place on Christmas 5 years later, would mean that the anniversary was only 2 months ago.

But besides that?
Too long, too incoherent and more like a bunch of random ideas taped together. Of course, the practical effects of blood are fine. It’s a real mess. The plot is nonexistent, Sienna Shaw’s messianic line feels forced, and continuity takes a backseat to shock value.

It’s like Leone asking to ride the wave of success of the franchise, throwing out every unfinished idea on the screen, hoping that something will stick. Unfortunately, the only thing left is blood. Art gives one more night for dissection, but how coherent is the narrative? It’s not horror, it’s lazy carnage that thinks shock value replaces narrative.
