Synopsis
Jackal is a tough assassin who earns his living by carrying out hits with the highest payout
He soon meets his match in a tenacious British intelligence officer who tracks him down in an exciting cat-and-mouse chase across Europe. The novel “Day of the Jackal” was set in 1963 and involved the assassination attempt of the then French President Charles de Gaulle.
The show moves the setting to the current era

Lashana Lynch’s casting as Bianca Pullman, however, undermines the series
Series' the film style is refreshingly authentic and reminiscent of a time when storytelling felt grounded and realistic. Her role lacks the depth and expression required by the role, which feels like a mistake.
Without this casting issue, the series would easily be a 10/10
Let’s hope that the upcoming episodes keep the bar high and come to a satisfying conclusion. New season "Silo" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
