Synopsis
Series adaptation of James Patterson novels about the complicated and brilliant detective, Alex Cross.. In episode 2, Cross tells Sampson he smells like "mothballs and old spice." In real life, Isaiah Mustafa featured in the great Old Spice ads as 'the man your man could smell like'.
Aldis Hodge gives a strong performance as Alex Cross
He is a very underrated actor, I've always enjoyed his work. Yes, this series may be somewhat different from the novels but they shouldn't be compared.
In my opinion, Aldis is the perfect choice for Alex Cross
Don't listen to the negative reviews, this a very solid show. It starts off slow in the first couple episodes but it picks up and it only gets better as the season goes.
It's a very entertaining show and I hope it gets renewed for a season 2!
