KJ and Dan have a hard time communicating. After a few years of a strained relationship, the couple take a weekend trip to a friend’s cabin to rekindle their romance… only to find a dying, but not quite dead, mouse stuck in a glue trap. They disagree on how to proceed, with KJ advocating a quick death while Dan suggests making the rat’s last moments as pleasant as possible. The couple makes a compromise and moves forward, slowly finding their way back to each other in this idyllic setting. Unfortunately, their serenity is broken by the arrival of a tiny woman who can be charitably described as “eccentric” – she is the sister of their host and has no idea that anyone is staying in the family home. It’s okay if it falls, right? As the pair struggle to reconcile this intruder with their already strained dynamic, KJ and Dan begin to worry that this nasty third wheel may threaten more than just their relationship…
